Elections have consequences

Every 2, 4, 6 years there are elections held that turn over control throughout the country to a certain party. Sometimes elections have consequences, good or bad (which are the case here). If you have 30 principled party members (either side) that believe in and espouse what is their true core the election cycle will reflect that if their principles are correct for the country. If over the next 4 years, I hate to say this, Obama’s beliefs are correct and he succeeds, 30 conservatives or 60 conservatives will not matter. If however, and this is what I believe, his policy ends up being an abject failure for this country then those 30 principled party members can espouse a complete contrast in both 2010 and 2012. If however, you have 45 and they are wishy-washy and stand for nothing but appeasement, then the advantage will grow in 2010 and 2012. As long as Obama has success the ratio is irrelevant because when you have the White House and you are succeeding it doe not matter. As much as it pains to say this, sometimes you have to take 2 steps back to go forward and 2010 might not be soon enough for this country to go forward yet as far as seeing the big picture failures or Obama. It might take 2 elections cycles. Albeit, the end result is yes we want inroads in 2010, but only with people like Toomey & Kasich. We need to filter out the Specters, Norm Coleman’s, Tom Ridge’s and John McCain’s in preparation for 2012. The way back for Conservatism on a national scale is by weeding out the RINOS (Like DeMint says) allowing the country to fail and then showing the everyday people how to rebuild, prosper and recapture our glory and stature in the world as The True Super-Power, as I do not need to be liked to be the best. Nobody ever likes the best, they are always envious of you and I enjoy that position as a country.
One thing I am confident of is that no matter what happens during Obama’s Presidency there is NOTHING that true Conservative Principled Americans can not recover from, sustain our growth, prosperity and individual Liberty and be that “Shiny Beacon on a Hill”
